WHY H.E.A.L.?

H.E.A.L. (Heal, Evolve, and Lead) was conceived at the start of the pandemic by Sarah Galambos and Ben Cohen as a way to create community connection and collaboration. Sarah and Ben first met in the Leadership Sandy Springs class of 2019. There they learned the importance of community leadership and they embody that philosophy through H.E.A.L.

FREE COMMUNITY FITNESS

H.E.A.L. is a network of health conscious people and businesses working together to create community connection and collaboration through Free Community Fitness in Sandy Springs. Small- to medium-sized businesses are showcased as vendors at each event to increase their visibility and connection with the citizens of Sandy Springs. The Fall, Winter and Summer fitness series serve to create a fun place for the community to gather and experience free fitness classes led by top trainers in the area.

Free, fun, one-hour outdoor fitness classes offered to the community, hosted by local health and well-being businesses.

Melvin Parris has been in the fitness industry in varying capacities since 2001 and brings almost 2 decades of health, fitness, and 42 yrs of life experiences. He has served in roles including Personal Trainer, Training Manager for big-box health club companies and has experience in both training and business management areas.
